毎年恒例の CMA Awards (Country Music Association Awards)が行われて、受賞者は以下でした。

●Entertainer of the Year
　George Strait

大賞（Entertainer of the Year）は何と何との George Strait !!!
CMA Awards はCMAの会員の投票によって決まるので、最後の花むけでしょうか？


●Female Vocalist of the Year
　Miranda Lambert

テキサス出身。2010年からの4年連続受賞です。


●Male Vocalist of the Year
　Blake Shelton

こちらも2010年から連続で、Miranda Lambertとの夫婦受賞です。


●Vocal Group of the Year
　Little Big Town

Lady Antebellumで固いと思ったら、ポントゥ〜〜ン効果持続中でしょうか？


●Vocal Duo of the Year
　Florida Georgia Line

新人デュオですが、今年の活躍で一気に上り詰めました。


●New Artist of the Year
　Kacey Musgraves

テキサス出身。新人賞はFlorida Georgia Lineかと思いきやVocal Duoを受賞したので、新人賞はこちらにというCMA会員のバランス感覚でしょうかね？


●Album of the Year
　Blake Shelton「Based on a True Story」

Mine Would Be You がちょうど今週1位になり、このアルバムからは3曲のナンバー１を出してます。


●Song of the Year (Awarded to Songwriters)
　Lee Brice「I Drive Your Truck」

これはやや意外でしたが、良い曲ですね。


●Single of the Year
　Florida Georgia Line「Cruise」

これはカントリーソングとしてのチャート１位在位の記録を塗り替えたので、順当なところでしょうか？


●Musical Event of the Year
　Tim McGraw (Feat. Keith Urban and Taylor Swift)「Highway Don't Care」

豪華メンバーなんでこれもまあ順当なところ？


●Music Video of the Year
　Tim McGraw (Feat. Keith Urban and Taylor Swift)「Highway Don't Care」

Musical EventとのW受賞となりました。


●Musician of the Year
　Mac McAnally

ミュージシャンというよりはソングライターのイメージが強いですが、2008年以後連続で受賞してますね。
