Today was an exceptinally good day. I have managed to do a lot of things I had put off for some time. I finally called the dental clinic to make an appointment for Ray.
I ran 10km outside which I hadn't done since the New Years Day due to injury. I was so slow and I felt slight pain in the shin at the beginning, but my breathing became calm and steady after about fifteen minutes and it felt so good. I could go on forever...well almost.
For lunch Raymond, in his spring break, and I went to an Indian/Nepalese restaurant and each had two different kinds of curry - chicken and "healthy" (vegetarian) for me, chicken and mutton/eggplant for Ray, saffron rice, a small bowl of salad and a huge piece of naan. Everything was so good and we were stuffed.
After lunch we took our DSLR for repair. I was going to take the camera with me to Nagasaki last week, but I found out right before I left that the LCD display was not working at all. I questioned Ray about it because he had just come back from his soccer trip and I suspected something had happened during the trip. He thinks he dropped the camera. He thinks???
Anyway, we took the receipt (proof of purchase) and the warranty to the store just in case but they accepted to repair it without the hassle.
Raymond left to meet with his friends to go to the beach while I went to the personnel office to look for potential jobs for me. I'm seriously thinking about getting a job. The lady in the office kindly printed out the newest employment list for me. I perused the list and the job discriptions and qualifications for some of the jobs later at a cafe eating/sipping chai icecream float. Some seem promissing but others not.
So that was my day and I'm feeling good.
