    <description>Last week&apos;s Jeet-Kune-Do class was rough, in many ways.

It was the first &quot;summer&quot; day for us, meaning it was hot. The heat seemed to sap everyone&apos;s strength. We were all very sluggish.

What also made it difficult were the evasion and countering exercises were were doing. Today were defending against a left-stance attack (opponents left leg lead). We practiced slips and bobs and weaves to evade and counter jabs, crosses and hooks. They were quite easy to do one at a time....</description>

    <description>I&apos;m back in Japan! And I&apos;m married!

I went back to the states for a week to have my wedding ceremony. It was beautiful! Lots of fun! Now I&apos;m back. I tried to keep an eye on my weight while away. I was able to maintain my weight, but wasn&apos;t able to lose any. But that&apos;s ok. I&apos;m back on the job.

I&apos;m going to Jeet Kune Do class again tomorrow to burn those calories. And to get myself ready for the competition. So buckle up. It&apos;s about to get rough and rug...</description>

I didn&apos;t go to Jeet Kune Do practice last week, but I did well with diet and exercise.
I ran 28 kilometers and biked 27! Combined with my weight training, I&apos;m getting slimmer and trimmer everyday.  My Jeet Kune Do teacher also recommended a protein drink that I have been drinking. So my muscle mass has increased a bit. Since muscle is heavier than fat, I don&apos;t loose as much weight as fast as I could, but I&apos;m getting stronger and gaining more ...</description>

    <description>After a brief relapse, I&apos;m back on with getting into shape. I have had to work a lot of overtime these last few weeks and haven&apos;t gotten to the gym or attended my Jeet-Kune-Do training as I have wanted. But I have still been watching what I eat and making sure I don&apos;t put on more weight. I have made it down to 75 kilograms! I have been able to maintain that weight without working out, but that&apos;s NOT how I wanna do this.

The cost is 12,000 yen for non IUMA members, 10,000 for IUMA members, 5,000 for elementary school students and 7,000 for Junior high school students.

The seminar will begin at 15:45 and finish at 19:45.

The seminar will be held at Shinjuku Cosmic Sports Center.
